New Delhi: The central government has released a new guideline regarding lockdown 5. According to the new guidelines, the lockdown has been increased till 30 June in the Containment Zone. Areas outside the Containment Zone will be reopened in a phased manner.
Talking about the night curfew, it will remain in force from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am. It is worth noting that earlier in Lockdown 4, it used to be from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. The Home Ministry said in a statement that curfew will be strictly enforced from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, except people of essential activities or services will not be allowed to leave the homes.
According to the Home Ministry, the local authorities will ensure strict compliance of section 144. The Center has allowed several activities to be resumed in a phased manner under social activities and other safety guidelines. The Ministry of Home Affairs has said that places of worship, hotels, restaurants, other services and malls may reopen from 8 June. Apart from this, the Home Ministry said that the Center will issue SOP for them, so that the spread of coronovirus can be stopped.
