Mumbai: The Meteorological Department said on Sunday that a low-pressure area has formed in the Arabian Sea, which could take the form of a cyclonic storm and move towards Maharashtra and Gujarat by June 3. The regional meteorological center said in a tweet, “A low air pressure zone has formed over southeast and eastern central Arabian Sea and Lakshadweep …”.

The Meteorological Department said that the low air pressure region could later become a cyclonic storm, which is expected to move northwards and reach North Maharashtra and Gujarat coast by June 3.

“Low air pressure is likely to prevail over the eastern central and adjoining south eastern Arabian Sea in the next 24 hours,” the department said.

Explain that the name of this storm has been named Hika after Amfan. ‘Hika’ cyclonic storm threatens on Gujarat’s coastline. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is forming over the Arabian Sea, due to which a cyclonic storm could hit the coast of Maharashtra and Gujarat on June 3.
