Lucknow: Two women attempted self-immolation in front of the Chief Minister’s Office Lok Bhavan in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, after an attempt to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the land case failed. In this incident, a woman’s condition is said to be critical.
According to sources, the family wandered in government offices and police stations with their complaint in the land dispute, but no one was helping them. Today, in the same sequence, these two women of Amethi reached the Lok Bhavan in the hope of meeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, but they felt disappointed, perhaps that is why they have adopted this method.
Political reactions have also started coming after the incident. Congress has demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident. Congress leader Aradhana Mishra Mona has targeted Amethi MP and Union Minister Smriti Irani by tweeting.
