Photo-sharing app Instagram has introduced a new feature called Shop. Also, it has launched Facebook Pay on its app for making purchases and donating money to charities.
It seems online shopping is the new game. With the coronavirus outbreak, everyone is asking us to stay at home. But it seems the online giants are ensuring that we are actively using their platforms to fulfill our needs.
The Shop page can be checked in the Explore tab, which will have lists of different items and brands that people want to purchase.
As per a report, Instagram will be charging some amount of money to businesses for listing its products on the shop page.
The new Shop page will also provide users to understand which products are good to buy within the app.
The Shop tab is reportedly in the place of the current ‘Activity’ tab. Users can check out the Activity tab as an icon in the top right.
This Shop page also allows any seller who has an online business and wants to increase their clients.
The move of launching a Shop page came after Facebook introduced a Shop feature on its main app in May this year.
