Facebook Messenger now has restrictions to forwarded messages

Social media giant Facebook has added an amazing feature on its Messenger app.

The feature now allow users to forward a message to only five people or groups at one go.

The new initiative seems to be similar to what WhatsApp had introduced back in 2018.

The idea is to stop the spread of false or wrong information on the Facebook platform among the users.

In a blog post, Facebook wrote, “We are introducing a forwarding limit on Messenger to help curb the efforts of those looking to cause chaos, sow uncertainty or inadvertently undermine accurate information.”

The feature comes at a time when the world is going through a global crisis of coronavirus and also elections are going to be held in the US and New Zealand.
