Lucknow. The number of people infected with the corona virus in Uttar Pradesh increased to 448 on Saturday. Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Kumar Awasthi told reporters here that till Saturday morning, 15 more cases were reported, eight of which were related to the Tablighi Jamaat.
Awasthi said that four new cases have been reported in Meerut. Three cases have been reported in Agra and Lucknow, two in Ghaziabad and one each in Bulandshahr, Badaun and Bhadohi. He informed that out of total 448 infected cases in the state, 254 are related to Jamaat. So far four people have died due to corona virus in the state. These deaths occurred in Basti, Meerut, Varanasi and Agra.
Let us know that more than 7500 people have been infected by the Corona virus in India so far and 242 people have lost their lives due to this epidemic. However, 642 people have been cured of the Corona virus so far throughout the country.
