Lucknow: The outbreak of Corona epidemic is increasing in Uttar Pradesh, the number of deaths is increasing continuously. In the state today, 6692 new cases were registered in one day. UP Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that 81 people died due to covid in the last 24 hours. At present, the number of active cases in the state has reached 59963.
So far 195959 people have been discharged while 3843 people have died due to infection so far. So far, the total number of corona infected has reached 259765, whereas today 5141 people have been discharged.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to increase covid-19 testing capacity in the state at the earliest and to take one and a half lakh tests per day. Yogi said that until covid-19 has developed an effective drug or vaccine, maximum testing is the biggest weapon against it. Therefore, efforts should be continued to increase the testing work.
