World’s largest social media company Facebook has said that it aims to stay committed to be an open and transparent platform.
The platform will always try to allow people to share their opinions and views freely.
The statement came at a time when there are allegations over the company for being politically biased.
Facebook has been targeted by some media firms after a Wall Street Journal report alleged that the social media platform’s content policies were in favour of the ruling party in India.
Since that report came out, BJP and Congress are in a dispute over Facebook’s political bias.
Thus, a Parliamentary panel was set up wherein Facebook representatives were told to ensure that there is no misuse of the social media app and website.
