New Delhi: During the ongoing standoff between Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, the Chief Minister convened a meeting of all party MLAs on Sunday night to discuss the current political developments, which have been completed. Meanwhile, it has been said that Ashok Gehlot has full support.
According to sources, after the meeting of Ashok Gehlot with Congress MLAs, party MLA Rajendra Gudda said, ‘Gehlot ji has majority. We are also trying and some BJP MLAs are in touch with us. We will bring more and more MLAs from BJP.
Around 75 MLAs / Ministers were present at the meeting today at the residence of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. Randeep Singh Surjewala and Ajay Maken are present at his residence. The legislature party is to meet tomorrow. It has been said that it is likely that a whip will be issued by the party after the meeting and the absentee MLAs will bear the consequences, but nothing has been finalized yet. The final decision will be taken after this meeting of Ajay Maken, Randeep Surjewala, Avinash Pandey and Gehlot.
