Congress says BJP is hungry for power, tweets ‘Amit Shah’s MLA shopping list’

Congress’s #SpeakUpForDemocracy campaign started against BJP

Jaipur: Political tug of war continues in Rajasthan. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party of plotting to murder democracy in Rajasthan. The Congress party has now taken the issue among the people of the country. Congress launched the #SpeakUpForDemocracy campaign on Sunday, attacking the BJP. The Congress has said that instead of dealing with the Corona crisis, the BJP is giving priority to grabbing power.

Congress tweeted and said, ‘BJP is hungry for power. In Rajasthan, the MLAs were given Rs 15 crore to bring down the government. He asked, ‘Is BJP trying to topple Rajasthan government due to its commendable work against Corona?’

The Congress tweeted, “BJP has enough money to buy and sell MLAs but not enough to provide relief to the common man from the economic impact of Corona.” It shared a picture titled ‘Amit Shah’s MLA Shopping List’ alleging that BJP has bought 22 MLAs in Madhya Pradesh, 16 in Karnataka, 13 in Goa, 8 in Manipur and 9 in Assam.

Apart from this, the Congress alleged in another tweet, ‘In power-hungry BJP is insulting the democratic traditions of the country. Buying MLAs, toppling governments has become the nature of BJP. This game of killing democracy will not last long. ‘

Let me tell you, the Congress on Saturday organized a dharna at the district headquarters of the state on Saturday ‘against the conspiracy by the BJP to kill democracy in Rajasthan’. The BJP has objected to these demonstrations, alleging that rules such as distance from each other were not taken care of. The Congress demonstrated this protest at a time when political tug of war is going on in the state.
