New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed the Bharatiya Janata Party workers on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. During this, he said that I extend my best wishes to the BJP workers across the country on the birth anniversary of revered Deendayal Upadhyay. We can move forward with full dedication on the path that they have shown us.
PM Modi said that the workers are working continuously with a dedicated spirit for the protection and service of all the common people. In the midst of the challenges of Corona, BJP workers have continued this service practice without stopping, without tiredness. Many of our workers have also lost their lives in this. Today, I pay respectful tribute to all those late comrades who have ended their lives by serving the Leela Samaj.
Modi said that today, when every countryman is working tirelessly to make the country self-reliant, it has done a very historic job to give the rights to the poor, Dalits, the underprivileged, youth, women, farmers, tribals, laborers. For decades of independence, many slogans were raised in the name of farmers and workers, big manifestos were written, but the test of time has proved how hollow all those things were. The country knows these things very well.
Some people who have always lied to the farmers are trying to confuse the farmers because of their political interests. These people are spreading rumors. It is the responsibility of BJP workers to protect farmers from any such rumors.
