Noida (UP): The police took two college students into custody after their car allegedly dashed against an e-rickshaw, injuring six people including two school girls, the police said on Tuesday.

The incident occurred near Amity University under sector 39 police station, sources further said.

According to deputy commissioner of police (Noida) Harish Chander, three passengers of the e-rickshaw who sustained severe injuries are still under treatment, and three others have been discharged after the first-aid.

Chander said that the occupants had been taken into custody and that further proceedings in the case will be done. Nevertheless, no FIR was lodged in the connection, the police said.
