Lucknow: In the first regime of Yogi Adityanath’s government, Dr. Dinesh Sharma was the leader of the Upper House. This time Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya is likely to lead the government in the upper house. Sources say that the announcement may be soon, just after the portfolios are decided.
The structure of the government is the same though faces changed. Last time one of the deputy CMs was given charge to lead the house. This time Mr. Sharma is not in the council of ministers. So the responsibility is likely to shift towards Keshav as another deputy CM, Brajesh Pathak is not a member of the upper house. The top three of the government are clear so the responsibility is to be shared among them only.
