Amroha (UP): Next time when you attend a wedding ceremony or any other function, please carry your Aadhaar card. Else you may have to face embarrassment. This is what has happened to a few guests at a wedding ceremony in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. Just as the guests were going to take their dinner plates, they were asked to show their Aadhar cards. Two sisters were getting married at the same venue. A huge turnout of guests, many of whom appeared strangers, panicked the family members of the girls.
They, then, asked the guests to show their Aadhar cards. This enraged a few genuine guests who left the venue without eating and those who had Aadhar cards enjoyed the sumptuous dinner. The incident came to light after a video clip of it went viral on social media.
