An incident was reported in Uttar Pradesh where an eighteen-month kid was murdered by an alcoholic. The incident occurred in Saujhana Jhaya village. The accused was identified as Kishanpal who took the kid to the sugarcane field while he was playing outside his house and there he killed the baby.
According to the information received when the family started to search for the baby, they found the body in the field and were able to spot the murderer near. As per the sources, the accused tried to defend himself by attacking the villagers when they went to get hold of him.
According to the Superintendent of police (SP) city, Bulandshahr, Surendra Nath the villager badly thrashed the accused following which the police reached the spot and admitted Kishanpal to the district hospital in the area.
A case has been registered from the family members under section 302 against the accused. later it was found that Kishanpal also died during treatment in the district hospital. Following this, the body of the child was handed over to the family after the post-mortem.
Further, the police said that the body of the accused had also been sent for post-mortem and later his family was also informed about the incident.
