Meerut (UP): The police booked three minor students and detained them for hurling obscene remarks at a woman teacher in an intermediate college in the Kithore area of Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district and trying to molest her, official sources said on Monday.
The story did not end there. The students made a video clip of the incident and made it viral on social media. They were heard saying their teacher “jaan” and “I love you.”
The police further said that the woman teacher in her early 20s lodged a complaint alleging that three students of class 12 had been harassing her for several weeks. They were also hurling comments at her, the teacher said. Parents of the three students were informed about it, but they did not take any action.
According to circle officer of Kithore, Suchita Singh, a case has been registered against the three accused and they have been detained for questioning.
