Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Aditya Nath has appointed 105 Udyami Mitras to facilitate investors by resolving their problems.
The Udyami Mitras will be put on duty at the Invest UP office and headquarters.
Sources in the government said that the Udyami Mitras had been selected through a written test, the results of which can be downloaded from Invest UP’s website (invest.up.gov.in).
Aditya Nath decided to appoint Udyami Mitras to implement an investment proposal of Rs 35 lakh crore received during the investment summit this year.
According to a press release, a written test was held after verification of the applications received by the screening committee comprising senior officers.
Results were announced on April 16. As many as 350 candidates were selected. Interviews of the selected candidates began from April 18 and continued till May 8.
Twenty-five marks were fixed for the interview and ten for the computer examination.
According to sources, a large number of applications were received for the post. Only 105 candidates were selected for the posts.
There will be 70 posts for different districts, ten for Invest UP office, the headquarters and 25 for Industrial Development Authorities, sources said.
Nevertheless, the work is only for one year and this time limit may be extended, depending on the situation.
