Prayagraj: The incident of a robbery in a businessman’s office in Prayagraj on Thursday reminded one of a scene in a detective novel or one in a Hollywood movie. Three masked men got into the businessman’s office in Prayagraj, held him at gunpoint and made off with Rs 6,00,000, the police said. The incident took place at noon. The CCTV footage showed the masked men barge into the office, finish their job 25 seconds and escape. According to reports the businessman deals in iron rods.

On getting into the office, the robbers held the trader at gunpoint, rummaged through the drawers below the table and put the cash in bags. The trader helplessly watched the incident with his hands raised. An FIR was registered at the Colonelganj police station and several teams were formed to track down the culprits. The cops were sifting through the CCTV footage.
