Mumbai: Corona virus infection continues to grow in the country. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced a lockdown in the state on Monday. Thackeray said that yesterday we sealed the boundaries of the state and today we are sealing the boundaries of the district.

With this, he said that only essential services will be available in the state. Thackeray said that during lockdown, essential items like grocery stores, milk, bakery, medicine etc. will remain open. People need not panic. All religious places will remain closed. Only priests and maulvis will be inside and pray. ‘

Earlier, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray appealed to the citizens on Monday to stay in their homes for their safety in the wake of Corona virus infection. Despite Section 144 CrPC in the state, many people were seen on the roads on Monday and traffic was disrupted due to vehicles on many main roads.
