The sanctuary is known as habitat for tigers and this is for the first time a lone Black Panther was spotted there, said a senior forest department official.

Netizens found many similarities between the black panther and Bagheera of Jungle Book.

Some praised about the panther’s black shiny velvety fur while others thought if Mowgly and Baloo, the other characters from the Jungle Book could also be found nearby.
