PCB removed former players from many positions

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) removed two of its long-serving officials, former Test players Haroon Rasheed and Aga Zahid, clearly indicating that they are committed to making changes in the National Cricket Academy and related departments.

The PCB has removed Mudassar Nazar, another former Test player, as the director of academies and Subhan Ahmed as chief operating officer.

Haroon was working as the Director of Domestic Cricket, while Zahid was the Chief Curator. The removal of these two was certain as Chief Executive Officer Wasim Khan had indicated several times that he wanted to bring the youth to oversee cricket and other technical matters. The PCB said it would not extend the contracts of Haroon and Zahid.
