Defending champions France locked horns with Morocco in the second semi-final of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Notably, the latter emerged as the most consistent team in the current edition of the FIFA World Cup. France came up in the middle with the lineup of 4-3-3, whereas 3-4-3 was the starting lineup of Morocco.
Both teams played this match at the Al Bayt Stadium of Al Khor. The match was dominated mostly by brilliant French players. It was also the first match when the players of any team managed to penetrate and break the strong defense of Morocco.

Later on, in the second half of the game, Hugo Lloris & co. kept Morocco away from registering a number to their name in the scoreline. Then came the time when the match was left with only 11-12 minutes in the completion, and young center-forward Randal Kolo Muani came up with a match-defining goal in favor of the French side. This goal took the defending champions to the unassailable lead of 2-0.
Eventually, France won the match with a clean score line of 2-0 to enter the final of this prestigious football quadrennial for the second consecutive time. Now, France and Argentina will take on each other in the title clash of the tournament.
