Former Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza is in the grip of Corona. Murtaza’s corona report came positive on Friday evening. He was not feeling well for the last few days. Murtaza is currently in isolation at his home.
According to local media some members of Murtaza’s family were found infected with the disease. Murtaza is a member of Parliament and was conducting relief operations during the epidemic.
Murtaza’s brother said, “He (Mashrafe) was suffering from fever for the last two days. He was tested on Friday and the report arrived in the evening. He is in isolation at his home in Dhaka and needs prayers for him.
Mashrafe Mortaza played his first international match on 8 November 2001. The right-arm fast-medium bowler has 78 in Tests, 270 in ODIs, and 42 in T20. Murtaza has scored 797 runs in 67 innings of 36 Test matches with the help of 3 half-centuries with the bat. At the same time, he has scored 1787 runs in 220 ODIs, being unbeaten 28 times. He has scored 377 runs in 39 innings of 54 international T20 matches.
