Uttarakhand: Trivendra Rawat will continue as CM!

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat is seen saving his chief minister’s post, returning to Dehradun after meeting BJP President JP Nadda. It is believed that Rawat can also expand his cabinet to remove dissatisfaction inside the party. It is also reported that the high command has expressed resentment and warning on the working style of him and some of his ministers.

At the same time, the chief spokesperson of the state BJP Munna Singh Chauhan said, “As far as I know, no formal announcement of any meeting of the legislature party has been made here till date.”

But when he was asked whether there is going to be any major change in Uttarakhand as indicated by the sudden changing developments on the political front, he said, “Let’s see.”

Meanwhile, BJP state president Banshidhar Bhagat has said that the next year’s assembly elections will be held on the face of Trivendra Rawat.

Significantly, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reached Delhi on Monday and met the central leaders of the BJP. In fact, there is speculation that the BJP is contemplating a political change in the state.

Two central leaders – BJP vice-president Raman Singh and general secretary Dushyant Singh Gautam have submitted their report to party president JP Nadda on Uttarakhand. Both these leaders had come to Uttarakhand to talk to the leaders of the core group of the state BJP.

A section of state leaders are reportedly angry with Rawat’s leadership and they think the party’s electoral prospects under him may not be too bright.
