New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working overtime to foil the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra, said Congress on Tuesday. The Yatra will cover 3,750 km from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu to Jammu and Kashmir in 150 days.
General secretary of the All-India Congress Committee (AICC) Jairam Ramesh said, “Modi has many friends in many political parties I know. And he is working overtime to destabilise the Yatra. The BJP is working overtime to ensure that this yatra is not a success because our protest on 5 August on price rise was hugely successful.”

He referred to the resignation of Ghulam Nabi Azad from the party. Azad had quit the party a week ahead of the Yatra. People may come and go; people may attack Mr Rahul Gandhi, but it makes no difference. The Yatra will continue, he further said.
