Chennai: A 32-foot-high idol of Ganesh made of a fig tree has become a centre of attraction in Tamil Nadu’s Nagapattinam district. Eighty-three fig trees have been used to make the idol which will not be immersed, said a member of the Nagai Viswaroopa Vinayagar Committee which is organising the celebrations.
