New Delhi: If there is a new category for corruption, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia should get Bharat Ratna, said Congress on Wednesday. The Congress alleged that “Kejriwal and company” has crossed the distance from honesty and transparency to corruption in a very short span of time and wanted to know from the convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to sack the tainted ministers.
President of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Anil Chaudhary told journalists that in the first FIR by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been recognised as the “number one corrupt” and this is the certificate of AAP’s “hardcore honesty.” Choudhary said that Kejriwal had raised questions over the excise policy of his predecessor and Congress leader Sheila Dikshit has opted for her policy. The Congress leader also blamed the Bharatiya Janata for remaining silent about alleged corruption in the Delhi government’s liquor policy.
