Bhadohi: A man has been sentenced to life imprisonment for raping a minor girl, sources said on Wednesday. A local court passed the order and imposed a fine of Rs 1,00,000 on the culprit. The court further said that the money should be given to the minor.

The man Adarsh Gupta violated an eight-year-old girl in October last year. A case was registered against the culprit under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act. After that a charge sheet was filed against Gupta whom the court convicted.
