Press Sewa Portal, Navigate Bharat Portal, and National Register for LCOs are among the portals that went live on Thursday. Speaking to a crowd at the launch event, Thakur stated that investors find India to be a desirable place to invest. He credited this to the transformative governance and economic reforms of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which have significantly increased the country’s business-friendly environment. Under Prime Minister Modi’s direction, Thakur cited the thriving startup ecosystem and rising foreign and domestic investment as evidence of India’s economic development.

The objective of this initiative is to facilitate business dealings by creating an environment that is more favorable for TV channels and newspaper publishers. Additionally, it aims to improve government communication efficiency and transparency and make official government videos easily accessible.

Four ground-breaking portals have been opened by the government for the modernized media landscape. Among the online platforms that went live on Thursday were the Press Sewa Portal, the NaViGate Bharat Portal, and the National Register for LCOs. At the launch event, Thakur told a crowd that investors think India is a good place to make investments. He attributed this to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s revolutionary economic and governance reforms, which have greatly improved the nation’s business-friendly climate. Thakur, acting on behalf of Prime Minister Modi, highlighted India’s economic progress by pointing to the country’s booming startup ecosystem and growing levels of both foreign and domestic investment. Press Sewa Portal, Transparent Empanelment Media Planning and Billing System as a whole, NaViGate Bharat Portal, and National Register for LCOs are the four portals that were launched on Thursday.

The Press Sewa Portal was launched in accordance with the Press and Registration of Periodicals Act, 2023and it plays automatic procedures in concern to newspaper registration. Online request filing, real-time tracking, and an application management module specifically designed for district magistrates are some of the key features.

The Transparent Empanelment Media Planning and Billing System was developed for the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) and offers an end-to-end ERP solution for the media sector. It simplifies media planning procedures. It has functions like media planning, invoicing, automated empanelment, and a companion mobile app.

The NaViGate Bharat Portal, created by the Ministry’s New Media Wing, is a single, multilingual platform that features videos about government initiatives for development and citizen welfare. It provides sophisticated search capabilities, smooth video playback, classification, and simple navigation. With the goal of bringing local cable operator (LCO) registration under one centralized system, the National Register for LCOs promises a better organized cable industry. Convenience and responsible service for cable operators are made possible by the National Register for LCOs and the online registration tool.
