On Monday, A case was registered against the officials of Redbird Flight Training Academy Pvt. Ltd. in Baramati, Maharashtra’s Pune. A case is filled due to their illegal work and not cooperating with the officials of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) in an investigation. 

FIR filed against Redbird Flight Training Academy 

According to police, an FIR was filed underneath IPC sections 353 and 186 at Baramati Rural Police Station based on a grievance from the AAIB. Officials of Redbird had allegedly not cooperated with the AAIB officials at some point in the research. It led to two crashes that occurred the remaining month in Baramati, Pune district, state by police. 

The first incident of the education plane twist of fate came on October 19, when aircraft from the same aviation academy crashed near Kaftal village in Baramati. The pilot of the aircraft was injured during this incident.

The second training aircraft belonging to the Redbird Flight Training Academy crashed at some point during an education session at Gojubavi village, 10 km from Baramati and around 100 km from Pune town, on October 22. It occurs when they attempt to land, but the trainee and trainer get injuries, as per reports. 

The investigation was started by AAIB officials. 

The AAIB officials have been gifted to the flight training academy at Baramati to analyze the stated crashes. Mann alleges that the AAIB officers filed the preliminary document based on fake statistics, to which the AAIB officials say they have proof and proof to return their findings.

Officials of Redbird have been allegedly no longer cooperating with the officers of AAIB at some point in the research of crashes that came about final month in Baramati, Pune district, police stated. The first incident occurred on October 19 in Baramati. The pilot of the plane had an accident in this incident. The second schooling plane belonging to the Redbird Flight Training Academy crashed during a training consultation at Gojubavi village, 10 km from Baramati and around 100 km from Pune city, on October 22 while attempting to land, wherein both the instructor and trainee suffered accidents, said the police.

Why was an FIR filed against the flight training academy? 

The pass comes after a video that showed Capt Karan Mann, promoter of Red Bird, reprimanding AAIB officials over the initial reports the investigators had filed into the October 19 and October 22 crashes involving the flying college’s aircraft. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has filed a police case in Baramati against nine officials of the Red Bird Flight Education Academy over expenses of obstructing public servants from doing their responsibilities.

This is the first time AAIB has filed a case against an operator for obstructing the investigation into a coincidence.
