News Desk – The Indian government has introduced a new plan called ‘Purvodaya’ to help develop five eastern states: Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh.
This plan was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, aims to improve schools and job training, build better roads and utilities.
The idea of ‘Purvodaya’ first came up in 2015 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi started a new oil refinery project. Now, it’s a formal part of the government’s budget, focusing on making India stronger and more self-sufficient.
Home Minister Amit Shah stated that this plan will boost infrastructure and economic growth, helping these regions contribute more to a independent India.
