News Desk – The case of Disha Salian’s mysterious death has taken a new turn as her father, Satish Salian, has approached the Bombay High Court seeking a fresh investigation. He has also demanded an FIR against Shiv Sena-UBT leader Aaditya Thackeray and wants the case to be transferred to the CBI.
Allegations of Murder and Cover-Up
Satish Salian has claimed that his daughter was brutally assaulted and murdered, and that the truth was covered up for political reasons. He has accused the Mumbai Police of rushing to label the case as suicide or an accident without properly examining the evidence.
His lawyer, Advocate Nilesh Ojha, has stated that the petition is in the process of being officially registered in the High Court.
Connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death?
- On June 8, 2020, Disha Salian fell from the 14th floor of an apartment in Malad. The Mumbai Police filed it as an Accidental Death Report.
- Just six days later, on June 14, 2020, actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra home. His case, initially called a suicide, was later handed over to the CBI.
- The timing of both deaths has led many to believe there is a deeper connection between the two cases.
Pressure and Alleged Political Involvement
The petition also mentions that Mumbai’s former Mayor, Kishori Pednekar, pressured Satish Salian not to name certain people in the case. It also claims that fabricated evidence was used to prove that Disha’s death was a suicide.
Suspicious Crime Scene and Missing Evidence
- In an interview with a news channel, Satish Salian shared that he does not believe his daughter died from a fall.
- He pointed out that there were no injuries on her body that matched a fall from such a height.
- There was a lack of bloodstains at the scene, and the area looked too clean, raising further doubts.
Demand for a Fresh Investigation
Satish Salian and his legal team are now pushing for the case to be reopened and for Aaditya Thackeray to be questioned. They hope that a new CBI investigation will reveal the truth behind Disha Salian’s death and its possible link to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.
