Two individuals from the Gonda district, Tahar Singh and Om Prakash Mishra, were apprehended for mailing the menacing letters. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force has detained two people in connection with accusations that they used aliases to threaten the Ayodhya Ram Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and STF ADG Amitabh Yash online.

Two individuals from the Gonda district, Tahar Singh and Om Prakash Mishra, were apprehended for mailing the menacing letters. An individual named Devendra Tewari allegedly told Singh and Mishra to do this so that it would work out politically for him, according to the STF.

Even though he is facing many accusations in Lucknow, Tewari is allegedly escaping punishment, according to an STF official. We will capture him soon. He masterminded the whole thing. The official claims that he was given a pistol as protection after making threats on his life in the past.

In an official statement, the STF said that on December 27, 2018, they were informed by the DGP headquarters that an account in question had sent an email threatening the destruction of the Ram Temple, Adityanath, and Yash. The email was supposedly sent by the ISI terrorist organization. The announcement claims that “an STF team started investigating the case” as the details were received.

During its investigation, the STF learned that two cases had been filed at the Lucknow police stations of Alambagh and Sushant Golf City. “Upon further investigation into the two offenses, it was discovered that the threat messages were sent using two email accounts: [email protected] and [email protected]. It was discovered that Tahar Singh and Om Prakash Mishra were the ones who established the email accounts. The statement continued by saying that after that, they were both taken into custody.

According to the STF, Devendra Tewari, a native of Lucknow’s Banthra area, was named as the perpetrator of the post while interrogating the two defendants.

Devidra Tewari, who is current facing many charges at various Lucknow police stations, had instructed the individuals who were brought into jail to make threats on social media. Tewari resides in the Alambagh neighborhood and has a position at the Indian Institute of Paramedical Sciences, as stated in the news release. The two employees that worked there were Om Prakash Mishra and Tahar Singh. Mishra served as Singh’s personal secretary, while Singh oversaw his social media accounts. Word on the street was that Mishra was a two-year diploma student at the same school.

The statement continued by saying that, per Devendra Tewari’s request, Tahar Singh had created the fake email accounts and, using WhatsApp, provided Om Prakash Mishra the password. Similarly, a shop in Naka Hindola, Lucknow was where the two phones that were used to send the threats were purchased.

The threats were spread on November 19 and December 27, respectively, by Devendra Tewari using his Twitter (X) account. After Tewari sent the emails, he destroyed the two phones by setting them on fire. The WiFi used to send the emails was found to have originated from Tewari’s office.
