Lucknow: On Friday-Saturday night, twitter handle of CM office was hacked for 29 minutes. This time, on Monday hackers did the same to the UP government and state information department twitter handle. The officials said that both were hacked for very short period of time. They got recovered soon. After these incidents it is very much clear that cyber security of the state government is in questions.

One of the senior bureaucrat said that the official twitter handle of the UP Government, which has more than 2.5 lakhs followers was hacked for around 10 minutes. Similarly, a fact check twitter handle operated by the state information department was also under the cyber attack for sometime.
Cases are registered
Like the case was registered after the CM office twitter handle hacked, the case of the hacking of both twitter handles also registered in the cyber crime police station in Lucknow. All the cases are registered against unknown and the investigation is going on to know the motive.
Do the multiple use is causing trouble
The twitter handles of CM office, UP government and the state information department is operated by the multiple people through outsourcing agency. Experts are of the view that it is causing trouble in the cyber security. Siurces claim that since it is been used by the multiple people so the password is quite simple and is circulated among many.
