Lucknow: MLA from Sultanpur, Vinod Singh, writes a letter to CM Adityanath to rename the diatrict with Kushbhawanpur. The name after the son of Lord Ram. During the last tenure of Adityanath the similar demand was made by MLA from Lambhua seat of the district, Devmani Dwivedi.

People had a strong belief that the place was developed by Lord Ram’s Son, Kush. He also added that, people believe that Khilji renamed it as Sultanpur to promote his cukture. People want the name of the diatrict back. During the election meeting too, people responded it positively.
Adityanath renamed Allahabad and Faizabad
In the last tenure Adityanath renamed Allahabad as Prayagraj and Faizabad with Ayodhya. Similarly, Mughalsarai junction was also named after as Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay. After these decisions people are making demand from many places to rename.
Renaming was in critisism
Though Adityanath renamed the districts, but it was in criticism. People said that there is politics allaround. Renaming the places he wants to create a communal rift. As the government was totally failed to perform so it was the only way to touch the sentiments of the public.
