Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 114 development projects costing Rs 279.30 crore at Check Bazar in Maharajganj district. He also inaugurated the office of Nagar Panchayat Check. Addressing the public meeting organized on this occasion, he said that 04 new Nagar Panchayats have been formed in the district of Maharajganj, which will now provide the city’s amenities to the population under them. The achievements of the last 04 years of the state government are well known. Due to the systematic working style, the poor people of the state are getting the benefit of the schemes.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is going to set up medical colleges in 16 districts, including the Maharajganj district. The State Government has ensured the development of every region without distinction. The government thinks that every poor should have a permanent house. For this, benefits are being given to the eligible people under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is continuously working for the well being of the farmers. After the formation of the government in the year 2017, firstly the crop loans of small and marginal farmers were waived, in which loan of about 01 lakh farmers of Maharajganj district was waived. Referring to contract farming, he said that the objective of the scheme is the development and prosperity of the farmers.
