New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude to the nurses on International Nurses Day on Tuesday amid Corona crisis. PM Modi wrote, ‘International Nurses Day is a special day to express our gratitude to the unprecedented nurses who work round the clock to keep us healthy. Currently they are doing a great job in defeating COVID-19. We are extremely grateful to the nurses and their families. ‘

Let me tell you that on May 12 every year, International Nurses Day is celebrated which is to appreciate and express respect to the work of nurses in the health sector. This year is even more special this year, because the role of nurses has become even more important in this period of worldwide corona virus epidemic. On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Rahul Gandhi and many others expressed their gratitude to the nurses on the occasion of International Nurses Day.
