The Madhya Pradesh government has been alerted about a new variant of Corona. Due to this situation, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang reached the State Virology Laboratory today.
Vishwas Sarang inspected the genome sequencing machine here. It is used for whole genome sequencing, which will identify new variants of the corona.
The Medical Education Minister said, “As per the instructions of the Central Government, genome sequencing of all positive cases will be done here. After AIIMS in Bhopal, this test will also be done in the State Virology Laboratory. This machine can test 96 positive cases at a time.”
He said, “Madhya Pradesh is fully prepared to fight Corona. At present, 43 thousand beds and oxygen are also available in sufficient quantity in Madhya Pradesh. Our oxygen generation plants are working properly. We have made a complete plan for this. The mock drill is also done here every month.
