According to the legends, Santa is a jolly fellow who resides at the North Pole with his wife, Mrs. Claus. He makes toys for children throughout the year, and he receives letters from children requesting their favorite gifts.
Story Of Santa Claus
Let’s go back to Turkey in 280 A.D., a white-bearded man whose name is Saint Nicholas helps needy and sick people. He is a monk who used his entire wealth to aid the underprivileged. He is called the protector of children and sailors and thus called Santa Claus.
However, there is another story about the legend of Sinterklaas, which is Dutch for Saint Nicholas. His generosity reached far and wide in America by 1700 and after his death, his name evolved as Santa Claus.

When we think about Santa Claus, we always see a healthy figure with a round belly but it is not true. In 1809 an author name Washington Irving portrayed the image of Santa in his book “Knickerbocker’s History of New York”. A man pipe-smoking, slim figure flying over rooftops and delivering presents to good children.
