Panaji: The Goa police on Thursday said that there were multiple blunt force injuries on the body of leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Haryana, Sonali Phogat. They pressed a charge of murder against her two associates. Earlier, it was said that 42-year-old actor Phogat died of cardiac arrest.

She arrived in Goa on August 22 along with her two associates Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhinder Wasi. After the police said that Phogat had died due to heart failure, her brother Rinku Dhaka filed a complaint against her two accomplices. Goa medical college conducted a fresh post-mortem of her body.
