New Delhi: Elated with the comprehensive win in Punjab elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal have shifted their focus to Gujarat now. “BJP is arrogant, give us a chance in Gujarat”, appealed Kejriwal in a roadshow in Ahmedabad today during his two day tour to Gujarat. He was on tour to the state capital where he today visited the Sabarmati Ashram along with participating in the roadshow.

Accompanied by the newly elected Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Kejriwal today visited the Sabarmati Ashram and participated in AAP’s Tiranga Yatra roadshow in Ahmedabad. While addressing the roadshow he urged the people of Gujarat to look for change. He told that ‘BJP has been in power in for last 25 years in the sate but failed to end corruption’.

Kejriwal reiterated that “I am not here to defeat any party. I am here to bring positive change in Gujarat which will make both Gujarat and Gujaratis win”.

“After 25 years, BJP has become arrogant. They don’t bother about the people anymore. Give us a chance to serve as the people of Punjab and Delhi. Give AAP one chance, if you don’t like us, change us in the next election. I assure you give one us and you will forget all other parties,” he said. Addressing the rally, Punjab CM Mann said, “Delhi and Punjab are sorted, now we are preparing for a change in Gujarat.”

Earlier in the day the Punjab and Delhi CM visited the Sabarmati Ashram and tried their hands on the charkha placed at the Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Gandhi residence ‘Hriday Kunj’, both the leaders have also visited the museum located at the site.

Kejriwal told media that he feels grateful to be born in the country of India where Gandhiji was also born. He said this is his first visit after becoming Delhi CM but I have been there as an activist earlier.” Earlier, Kejriwal refused to comment on the media’s political questions and said, “This is a pure place no politics here. All the political conversation will be done outside.
