Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the city plans to follow social distancing and restart life from Monday.
In the letter, Kejriwal has stated that markets, malls, public transport, including the Delhi Metro, offices should be allowed to open with limited people from Monday.
The central government plans to announce by tomorrow the rules and regulations of the lockdown 4.0 that will begin from next week. First phase of lockdown started in March last week to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease all over India.
Social distancing and wearing masks should be made mandatory to fight with deadly virus. Auto-rickshaws, buses, cabs (including aggregators such as Ola and Uber), should be allowed to operate with limited capacities.
Movement of people should be restricted (unless for essential service) between 9pm and 5am, the Delhi government suggested in the letter to Modi.
