Kesar Bhang Thandai
It’s the top most thandai that is widely drunk on colourful occasions. You just need almonds, aniseed, poppy seeds, cardamon, cumin, peppercorns, sugar, crushed ice, milk, bhang leaves paste and saffron.
To make the kesar thandai, grind all the solid ingredients, excluding almonds. Finely chop the almonds and add the ingredients into a mixture of water and milk. Add the bhang paste and saffron. Strain the mixture to exclude the tough ingredients and serve it cold.
