The second day of Navratri festival is celebrated on 18 October 2020. Goddess Brahmacharini is worshipped on the second day as she is the second form of NavaDurga.

Goddess Brahmacharini provides eternal bliss and self-awareness to her devotees. The name Brahmacharini means a faithful female student who lives in Ashrama with her Guru along with other students.

Goddess Brahmacharini is also called as Tapascharini, Aparna, and Uma. She wears white clothes and holds a rosary or japa mala in her right hand and a water utensil called Kamandal in her left hand.
