The fifth day of the Navratri 2021 festival falls on 11 October, Monday. The day is dedicated to Goddess Skandamata, who is the fifth form of Nava Durga. Goddess Parvati came to be known as Skandamata after she became a mother to Lord Kartikeya, who is also called Lord Skanda. Skandamata also has another name Padmasana or Skanda Devi.

Devotees can wear white-colored or yellow-colored dresses or sarees on this day because the colors stand for happiness, brightness, purity, peace, and meditation. White color is identical to simplicity and innocence. So, make sure you wear white color on Monday to become deserving of Goddess’ graces and endure a feeling of inner peace and confidence.
