Bhai Dooj, Bhaubeej, Bhai Tika, Bhai Phonta is celebrated today on 16 November 2020, Monday.
It is a festival observed on the second lunar day of Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) in the Vikram Samvat Hindu calendar or of Shalivahan Shaka calendar month of Kartika.
The festival is celebrated during the Diwali festival and many rituals are similar to the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
