Geneva: 65 employees working at the World Health Organization headquarters have been found infected with the corona virus. An internal e-mail obtained by the Associated Press has revealed this, while the World Health Agency maintains that there is no spread of the virus at its site in Geneva.
The disclosure comes in the midst of increasing cases of infection in Europe, the host country Switzerland and Geneva in particular. The mail says that more than half of the employees who have been working from home are undergoing infection. Of these, there are 32 employees of WHO who work in the headquarters building complex. This indicates that steps to prevent epidemics in the World Health Body are not sufficient.
