A natural weight loss program is what I will prefer after seeing how my sister struggled due to her sudden weight loss program. Now please note that my opinions mentioned here are based on my experiences and if you find a good nutritionist and coach who can ensure that sudden weight loss is not that bad for health, then it is completely your call.
So, my sister’s weight was 90 kg at the time she got married. Her typical mother-in-law advised her to lose weight because she didn’t want to tolerate the insults and comments on her daughter-in-law’s weight from her relatives and friends. My sister being sincere and naive went to a gym wherein she tried to reduce 10kg with a rigorous workout and also took some supplements to lower the weight in the duration of 3 months.
No more need to lose weight for love and validation
All her in-laws became happy and encouraged her to continue the sudden weight loss program but unfortunately, she had to shift her base to a foreign country as her husband got a new job there. Now the lifestyle of living in a foreign country is quite different and living separately from all friends, relatives, and parents in a new place was quite stressful for my sister who started binge-eating and emotional eating practice led her to increase her weight by another 20kgs.

So in a span of few years of her marriage, she had not only put up enough weight but also invited major health troubles after her pregnancy like pre-diabetes and high blood pressure that made her more stressed out than she was during her life before marriage. Now my sister’s case is just one but even I realized that anything that we do suddenly doesn’t last long. If you really want to lose weight, then go for natural methods of losing weight by following a good diet and exercise or walking schedule that helps you lose weight like 1kg in 3 months or something like that. This will not only help you lose weight but in fact, keep you away from inviting major health issues that come when you stop exercising or take a lot on your plate at an emotional level.
