New Delhi: Successful delivery of first corona infected pregnant woman has taken place in Delhi. After successful delivery by the team of ten doctors of AIIMS, the mother and child are healthy. When the AIIMS doctor and his pregnant wife came to know of a corona infection on Thursday, the AIIMS team started working by accepting the challenge of delivery. The isolation ward of the women’s hospital was made into an operation theater. According to a report published in the Indian Express, the sources of AIIMS said that everything has happened in the same way as planned, the woman and child are being investigated further.
At the moment, the newborn is left to the mother. A senior doctor told that with caution and safety devices, the child can stay away from the corona by staying near the mother. Mother’s milk is also being fed to the child. According to the doctor, there is no research that can say that drinking mother’s milk will infect the baby.
