Kabul: At least five people, including four doctors, were killed after a magnetic bomb attached to their car exploded in the Afghanistan capital, Kabul.
The doctors were heading to the Pul-e-Charkhi prison, located on the eastern outskirts of Kabul, which hosts hundreds of Taliban fighters, according to Kabul police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz.
Police said that it was not clear whether the attack was carried out by doctors or not. He said that no traces were found on the white colored sedan car that was killed in the blast, which suggests that the doctors were traveling in it.
Almost completely the car flew away in the explosion. Kabul’s chief of police spokesman Firdaus Faramarz said two other people were injured in the blast. The identity of the fifth deceased is not known yet. Police said that no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
